We aim to make ordering your custom pet portrait as seamless as possible. Our 4-step process ensures you’re involved and informed every step of the way, from choosing your portrait size to the final delivery of your masterpiece. Read below how the process works from start to finish:

Step 1: Choose Your Portrait Size

Select the perfect size for your pet’s portrait from the list of options you can find lower on this page.
Complete the information form and pay your deposit to secure your booking.

Step 2: Personal Consultation

Carolyn, our talented artist, will reach out directly to discuss your specific requirements.
She will request images of your pet and any other details needed for the commission.

Step 3: Creation and Updates

Carolyn will begin work on your portrait, keeping you updated with progress photos.
This ensures you are completely satisfied with the evolving artwork.

Step 4: Completion and Delivery

Once the portrait is complete, the remaining balance is paid.
Your artwork will then be carefully packaged and shipped to you (postage fees are included for UK Customers).

Square Portrait

From £65

Perfect for capturing the essence of your pet’s face and expression, this size (5x5 inch) is ideal for intimate, close-up portraits. Whether it’s a headshot of your dog’s soulful eyes or a close-up of your cat’s whiskers, this format brings out the personality and charm of your pet. Best for single-pet portraits focusing on head and shoulders.

A5 Portrait

From £115

A5 Portraits are great for those who want a bit more detail while still keeping it compact. This size works well for showcasing your pet’s unique features and character, capturing more of their upper body. Ideal for framing on a desk or small wall space, it’s a lovely way to display your pet’s charm.

A4 Portrait

From £160

A versatile option, A4 Portraits allow for greater detail and more background elements. This size is suitable for full-body portraits of smaller pets or detailed upper-body portraits of larger pets. It’s perfect for capturing a comprehensive view of your pet’s appearance and personality, making it a standout piece in any room.

A3 Portrait

From £275

Our largest portrait option, the A3 size is designed for grand, detailed representations of your pet. This format is perfect for full-body images, capturing your pet in their natural pose or even in action. It’s ideal for displaying prominent features and surroundings, making it a statement piece that commands attention in any space.

Materials

Your artwork will be created using only the finest, professional grade materials which are archival quality, meaning that if your artwork is cared for according to the instructions provided, it will retain its detail and colours and be enjoyed for many years to come.

Pencils

Premium brands are used, including Faber-Castell Polychromos Colour pencils which have a fade resistance of over 100 years, Caran D’ache-Luminance 6901 Professional colour pencils which have a high pigment concentration for intense, bright colours and Prismacolor coloured pencils, lightfast with richly saturated pigments.

Surfaces

Surfaces I use include Clairefontaine Pastelmat Pastel Paper 360gsm, Strathmore Bristol Board, Fabriano Artistico watercolour paper and Polydraw drafting film.

Payment & Shipping information

We understand that commissioning a custom pet portrait is a special investment. To make the process as convenient as possible, we offer a variety of payment options. Whether you're adding multiple pets to your artwork or prefer to spread the cost, we've got you covered.

Paying via Credit or Debit card

Deposit and Balance: A deposit is required to start your order. The remaining balance is due upon completion before shipping (postage costs are included for UK Customers).
Multiple Pets: If you want more than one pet in the portrait, please select size A4 or A3. The price will increase accordingly for each additional pet.

Paying via Klarna or Clearpay

Deposit and Balance: A deposit is required to start your order. The remaining balance can be spread over several payments via your preferred provider and will begin upon completion, before shipping.
Multiple Pets: If you want more than one pet in the portrait, please select size A4 or A3. The price will increase accordingly for each additional pet.

International Customers

Please note that the price of our bespoke artwork does not include international shipping costs. Once you place your order, we will obtain a shipping quote and share it with you for approval. The shipping cost must be accepted and paid upfront before the artwork is dispatched.

Additionally, please be aware that there may be Customs Duties and Import VAT charged upon the arrival of the artwork in your country. These charges are not included in the price of the artwork and must be paid by the customer. You will be contacted by your local customs office or the courier directly to arrange this payment. Please understand that these fees are determined by your local authorities and are not within our control.
